This is the story of my game of Civilization IV Adventure Six from Realms Beyond Civilization.
When I decided to try my hand at Civ 4, I decided to pick one of the Realms Beyond offerings as my first game. Simply put, I never have the motivation to actually finish a game if it's not part of a competitive setting. Adventure Six seemed like the perfect introductory game, on Noble difficulty (the "fairest") with a small map and a normal unconstrained game scenario.
Although the competition on the game closed a few months before I played, I'd never read the reports on the game, so my play is indeed unspoiled. I took notes as I played the game, and decided to write up the results as a traditional report for posterity for anyone curious as to my thought processes while learning the game, and also for myself to reflect back on years hence.
