This is the story of my game of Civilization IV Epic Eleven from Realms Beyond Civilization.
I decided to play this game mostly to make up for missing Civ 3 Epic Eleven back in that day. Honestly, I'm pretty bored of cultural victories, but the secret of this scenario is that it's not the primary goal. On Prince difficulty with all other victory conditions turned off, it's already a foregone conclusion that I'll win that way. So I can focus entirely on the variant scoring goals of wonders and cultural buildings.
And the biggest prizes on that scoring list are the Great Lighthouse and Parthenon. The Parthenon actually contributes a fair bit to a cultural game plan, so that's surely a worthwhile goal. As for the Great Lighthouse... well, let's see just how red this herring is.
