This is the story of my game of Epic Seventeen from Realms Beyond Civilization. You can see the scenario setup there. The goal is Just Win, Baby, as Babylon on Deity difficulty, keeping to Honorable tactics if possible.
Well, for a game with no variant restrictions or goals, one can't make much of a specific game plan. :) The only plan I can see is to grab land as FAST as possible; my succession game TH3 showed that if the human player manages an equal land-grab, he can keep up with Deity AIs through the middle ages fairly well, and run away in the industrial age.
